Biography

Matthew H. Woodard is an Associate in the White Plains, New York office of Jackson Lewis LLP.  Mr. Woodard represents employers in a variety of litigation matters in federal and state courts and administrative agencies. He also counsels management and human resources professionals on compliance with employment laws and related issues.

Mr. Woodard received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Siena College in 2000 and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2003. During law school, Mr. Woodard was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal, attended the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Trial Techniques Program, and was a recipient of the Jonathan Falk Memorial Scholarship. He served as a student law clerk in New York State Supreme Court, County of Nassau, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He also co-authored a student note about litigating cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
