Biography
Kelsey E. O’Keefe is an Associate in the Seattle, Washington office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Ms. O’Keefe is a member of the firm’s Global Immigration Practice Group and her practice focuses on working with U.S. and multinational corporations in the temporary hire of foreign national employees for positions in the U.S. This work includes filing of nonimmigrant visa applications for intra-company transferees, athletes, entertainers, and professionals in a variety of specialty occupations (e.g., H-1B, L, TN, O, and P visas). Ms. O’Keefe also provides representation in family-based green card cases and nonimmigrant applications (K-1 and K-3). She also represents companies and individuals in the preparation of immigrant petitions and permanent residence applications for a wide variety of high-value employees, including multinational managers/executives and individuals of extraordinary ability. Prior to working for Jackson Lewis, Ms. O’Keefe worked as an Associate for a Seattle-based business immigration law firm Ms. O’Keefe speaks before business and employer associations such as The Seminar Group Labor & Employment Law Conference and the Certified Financial Managers Association. She also serves pro bono as a volunteer attorney for the Northwest Immigrants Rights Project and serves on the Executive Committee of the Washington Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association as Program Chair, organizing monthly CLEs. Ms. O’Keefe is a member of the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association and the American Immigrations Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice law in Washington State. Ms. O’Keefe received her B.A. in History from Gonzaga University. She earned her J.D. from the University of Washington.
