Connors has joined the firm’s Kansas City Region office as Shareholder. Mr. Connors, who was previously with Stinson Leonard Street, has over 25 years of experience representing management in a wide variety of employment and labor law matters.

Mr. Connors represents, counsels and advises management in matters including hiring, discipline and discharge of employees, separation agreements, employment discrimination, harassment, immigration worksite enforcement, affirmative action, wage & hour matters, drug testing, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, National Labor Relations Act matters, union issues, strikes and picketing, and OSHA matters. He has also represented employers in collective bargaining negotiations, mediations and arbitration.
Mr. Connors has represented employers before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; numerous State and Local Fair Employment Practice agencies; the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs; Wage and Hour Division, U.S. Department of Labor; National Labor Relations Board; U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement; and Office of Chief Administrative Hearing Officer, U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Connors, who is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© and has been included in Chambers USA and Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers, is a frequent speaker, author and commentator on employment and labor law matters, and conducts numerous training session and employment law seminars. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Kansas and his J.D. from the University of Houston’s Law Center. Mr. Connors is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri.
