Randall J. Hakes is an Associate in the Sacramento, California office of Jackson Lewis LLP.
Mr. Hakes resolves discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, breach of contract, trade secrets, ADA access, and various other employment matters.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis in 2006, Mr. Hakes litigated employment, business, commercial, and copyright matters.
Mr. Hakes has spoken at various employment law seminars and written employment law articles for the Council on Education and Management and the U.C. Davis Business Law Journal. He is also a member of the J. Rueben Clark Law Society and Folsom Corridor Connections.
Mr. Hakes has been named a “Super Lawyer Rising Star” four times in Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine.
Mr. Hakes practices in California state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California, and before the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Business Law Journal, University of California, Davis, School of Law while earning his Juris Doctor degree and was an Academic All Pac-10 football player for the University of California, Los Angeles while earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
