Stephanie O. Zorn is Of Counsel in the St. Louis office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
Ms. Zorn counsels clients in a broad range of employee benefits and compensation matters, including tax qualification requirements and statutory requirements under ERISA, PPACA, HIPAA, COBRA and the Internal Revenue Code. She also assists clients with their plan document needs, including drafting, amending for legally required and design changes, and preparing summary plan descriptions and government filings. Ms. Zorn’s practice includes counseling clients on fiduciary compliance, including investment selections, participant communications and plan committee delegation and decision making. Ms. Zorn also advises clients on federal health care reform and nonqualified deferred compensation plans.
Ms. Zorn also represents clients in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, disability accommodations, family and medical leave laws, reductions in force and reorganizations, wage and hour laws, noncompete and confidentiality agreements, retention agreements, outsourcing and international labor and employment matters.
Ms. Zorn is a frequent speaker on benefits and employment law issues, including federal health care reform compliance and discrimination laws.
Ms. Zorn received her B.A. in Philosophy from Macalester College, her J.D. cum laude from Hamline University School of Law and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
