Biography

Jesse I. Unruh is an Associate in the Orlando, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Mr. Unruh is a member of the firm’s Class Action and Complex Litigation practice group. He regularly practices at the trial level in state and federal courts, as well as proceedings before administrative agencies.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Unruh worked as a law clerk for a federal district judge in the Orlando Division of the Middle District of Florida gaining experience in labor and employment disputes as well as complex commercial transactions. Mr. Unruh began his career in commercial litigation in a Miami based litigation boutique assisting clients in local, national, and international disputes.

Mr. Unruh graduated second in his class at Florida State University College of Law and received FSU’s Environmental Law Certificate with highest honors. He was on the executive board of the FSU Law Review, as Executive Editor, and the Moot Court team, as Intramural Co-Chair. Mr. Unruh received the following book awards: Administrative Law, Civil Procedure, Energy Law, Evidence, Legal Writing II, and Jurisprudence.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Unruh received a Masters of Arts in Philosophy at the University of Bristol, UK, focusing his studies on meta-ethics and applied ethics.
