The Long Island, NY office seeks a highly motivated attorney with 4-5 years experience in employment law litigation for our Affirmative Action and OFCCP/Diversity Planning (AAP) practice group. The AAP practice group assists government contractor clients with the design, development and implementation of affirmative action plans, in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. The AAP practice group also represents clients during government initiated audits, including defending against government claims of discrimination. This mid-level associate position will focus primarily on providing support to and defending clients against systemic (class-based) discrimination actions. Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Admission to practice in New York is required. Experience in affirmative action/OFCCP matters or systemic/class-based litigation (especially involving statistical analysis) a plus.
