USCIS will be releasing a new I-9 this Spring (expected in May), and the new form has many changes. Federal law requires that all employers use the Form I-9 to verify the identity and work authorization of all new-hire employees, and failure to comply can bring hefty fines.   Make sure your worksite is compliant and that you know the ins and outs of the new Form I-9 by learning from the experts. Members of Jackson Lewis’ Immigration group will review the following topics during this webinar:

  • When are we required to use the new Form I-9?
  • What is changing?
  • Best Practices before and after the new Form I-9
  • We use E-Verify – will the new form impact our E-Verify practice in any way?

*Under the rules of the New York State Bar and the State Bar of California, this webinar qualifies for up to 1.0 general/professional practice non-transitional continuing legal education credits. Jackson Lewis is an approved provider for New York and California CLE.
