This program focuses on some of the most difficult ADA issues employers face – managing employees with mental health disabilities and related requests for reasonable accommodation. How should employers respond to requests for: changes to supervisors, alternative supervisory  methods, work from home arrangements, a less stressful working environment? What is the EEOC’s position with respect to these issues?  Similarly, what options do employers have when they receive accommodation requests flowing from environmental sensitivities? This program discusses strategies for managing these types of disability-related issues in the workplace, particularly where the employee seems to be saying the workplace itself is the problem.
