PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 7, 2019) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Associate Malcolm J. Ingram has been selected as an “African-American Leader” honoree by the Philadelphia Tribune. The award recognizes and honors the most influential African American leaders in Philadelphia for their leadership skills and for empowering and improving the lives within the Philadelphia community.
Mr. Ingram was honored for his work as Interim President of the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ and DE (AACC). In this position, Mr. Ingram helps further the organization’s mission by helping empower and connect African American business owners and entrepreneurs with resources, educational programming and networking opportunities to grow their businesses.
“I am extremely grateful and humbled to be recognized as one of Philadelphia’s most influential African American leaders,” said Mr. Ingram. “My time as the AACC’s Interim President has provided me with the opportunity to advocate on behalf of African American business owners and connect African American business owners with business opportunities. I would like to thank Chairman Steven Scott Bradley and the African American Chamber of Commerce’s Board for allowing me to lead the chamber during this transition period.”
Mr. Ingram is a member of Jackson Lewis’ General Employment Litigation Practice Group in Philadelphia, where he focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counsel. Mr. Ingram earned his B.S. from Philadelphia University, where he was a Division II Scholar-Athlete and graduated cum laude. Mr. Ingram earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law where he was a Conwell Scholar. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ingram completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
