Alexa M. Farmer is an Associate in the Hartford, Connecticut, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Alexa represents employers at the agency level and throughout the course of litigation in state and federal court. Additionally, Alexa has experience in the defense of class-based matters, in particular wage and hour class and collective actions, including an FLSA collective action trial.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Alexa litigated insurance defense matters where she had the opportunity to represent individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in state court; negotiate settlement where appropriate; take and defend depositions; and defend her clients’ varying interests throughout the course of litigation.
