Allan N. MacLean is Of Counsel in the Boston, Massachusetts, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Prior to joining the firm in September 2006, he served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.

Mr. MacLean advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment matters arising under state and federal law, including matters involving disciplinary action, alleged wrongful termination, whistleblowing, reductions in force, wage and hour issues, accommodation and leave issues, and general compliance with the law. A significant portion of Mr. MacLean’s practice is devoted to counseling and representing clients on issues pertaining to the enforceability of restrictive-covenants, such as non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.

Mr. MacLean has successfully represented clients in actions before the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, various Massachusetts state courts, and state and federal administrative agencies.

Mr. MacLean presently serves on the Human Rights Committee for the Walnut Street Center, which is a non-profit organization located in Somerville, Massachusetts that provides comprehensive supports to adults with developmental disabilities.
