Emeraude Lerebours

Biography

Emeraude Lerebours is an associate in the Tampa, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling. In addition, Emeraude is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator and serves as a mediator.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Emeraude worked at a firm where she represented insurance companies and hospitals throughout all stages of litigation.

During law school, Emeraude held multiple leadership positions, such as the elected President of the International Law Society, Secretary of the Labor and Employment Law Association. Emeraude was also a member of the Stetson BLSA Trial Team, where she strengthened her oral advocacy skills when she competed in two competitions, in which she was placed as a finalist in both.

During her last summer of law school Emeraude was a Judicial Intern at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, which gave her a greater understanding of the judicial decision-making process. During her last year of law school, she interned at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she acquired a valuable administrative perspective of employment law.
