Biography
J. Michael Nolan III is an associate in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. In addition to a primary litigation practice, John also serves as the Philadelphia office’s electronic discovery liaison.
John’s litigation experience includes defending company management, exclusively, against lawsuits filed by employees alleging discrimination based on disability, sex, religion, national origin, race, and involvement in union organizing activity, as well as a particularized practice in ERISA benefits fiduciary litigation. He is familiar with federal, state, and Philadelphia local laws and advises a broad range of employers on a regular basis on their employment questions.
In addition, John’s electronic discovery related practice includes advising clients and other attorneys regarding the form and function of electronically stored information discovery in a practical litigation setting, forensic investigations into potential employee computer misconduct and electronic theft, and data breaches and cybersecurity in the context of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
