Biography
Laura McKnight is of counsel in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
Laura is a trial lawyer defending employers in federal and state courts, administrative agencies and before arbitration panels on a wide range of employment issues- discrimination, harassment, retaliation (including False Claims Act and whistleblower cases), defamation, negligence and violations of non-solicitation and non-competition agreements.
She also regularly counsels clients in all aspects of personnel decisions including disciplinary issues, reductions in force, drafting and enforcing non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements and drafts executives employment contracts for employers.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, she served as co-chair of the employment group at a mid-size litigation firm in Minneapolis.
