Nicola A.L. Prall is a principal in the Raleigh, North Carolina, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Providing advice and counsel on all immigration law matters, she partners with her clients of all sizes helping them to create a globally diverse and highly skilled workforce for their organization.

A native of Brazil, Nicola lived in Hong Kong and England, before moving to the United States and was naturally drawn to practicing global immigration law. She advises employers on all types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and employment verification issues, including E-Verify and I-9 compliance. Nicola proactively advises clients on planning for an immigrant workforce including immigration sponsorship policies and programs and strategies for retaining global talent.

Nicola frequently presents on immigration law and employment law issues for her individual clients and at conferences. A regular contributor to Jackson Lewis’ Immigration Blog, she has also written articles on retaliation and state E-Verify for NAPEO’s Legal Review.

In addition to her immigration practice, Nicola counsels clients on employee hiring and separation issues, preventative employment practices, and complaints regarding harassment and discrimination. Nicola has defended numerous employment discrimination cases.
