Biography

Pamela R. Irons is Of Counsel in the Memphis, Tennessee, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents management in Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, USERRA and retaliation claims, as well as other federal and state employment laws.

Ms. Irons also represents employers in EEOC, Department of Labor and state administrative proceedings in responding to Charges of Discrimination, fact finding conferences, and onsite investigations. In addition, Ms. Irons assists clients with preparing and updating employment applications, company policies and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Ms. Irons also conducts harassment prevention trainings. She devotes a portion of her practice to non-competition matters.

Prior to working for Jackson Lewis, Ms. Irons gained experience in labor and employment matters with other Memphis-based labor and employment boutiques. Prior to relocating to Memphis, Ms. Irons practiced in Chicago, where she concentrated in the areas of insurance defense and workers’ compensation.

While attending law school, she was recognized as the Regional Best Oral Advocate, Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition, in 2000-2001.
