Timothy Domanick is a principal in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.  He takes a practical, collaborative approach when working with clients, which allows them to reach their goals, mitigate risk and ensure legal compliance.

Tim is one of the firm’s go-to resources for employment issues pertaining to credit unions, working closely with the leader of our Financial Services industry group. On behalf of credit unions, he regularly advises the Board on compensation and benefits matters, advises on executive agreements, and on behalf of the organization, handles all types of employment law issues such as employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Tim began working with credit unions when he joined the firm almost 13 years ago, and because of this deep experience, is regularly referred by firm clients when other credit unions need attorney recommendations.

Outside of his work with credit unions, Tim regularly assists clients with position statements, pleadings, motions, and memoranda of law related to employment law issues such as employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. He also advises on compliance with various state and federal laws, including Title VII, Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act and New York State and City laws.

Tim also regularly conducts workplace training for both management and employees on legal compliance issues and is frequently retained to conduct independent investigations to mitigate risk and address client concerns.
