Brett A. Whitley

Brett A. Whitley is an associate in the Denver, Colorado, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Brett practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Denver, Colorado, where he represented and advised employers across Colorado regarding employment discrimination, trade secret, and wage and hour matters. Brett's experience includes serving as second-chair in the defense of an employer accused of national origin discrimination in federal court, which resulted in a complete defense verdict.

Brett's interest in employment law began in law school, where he authored an article published in the Arkansas Law Review that analyzed the legality of caste discrimination in the American workplace and was awarded the M. Jeff Starling Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law.
