Adam J. Turton

Adam J. Turton is an associate in the San Francisco, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents employers in various aspects of employment litigation and advises clients as to their potential liabilities and obligations as it pertains to the employer-employee relationship.

Adam’s interest in labor and employment is founded on his personal experience with disability. Having personally struggled with a disability and watching others experience the same issues, Adam has devoted himself to tackling issues related to disability in the workplace and acting as an advocate for those who struggle whilst simultaneously working towards a mutually beneficial outcome for both employers and employees. He pursued this interest while in law school by taking both an employment discrimination class and developing his advocacy skills through two consecutive years on Santa Clara Law’s Mock Trial Team. It is his passion and relentless focus that drive’s him forward, leading to his attainment of the Honorable Donald J. Sullivan Award and 1st place in the 2021 San Francisco Mock Trial Lawyers Competition.

Adam has handled discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and executive compensations issues in state courts across California. He takes a measured and thoughtful approach to addressing the issues of his clients and works closely with them to ensure that their needs and concerns are being properly addressed.

While attending law school, Adam was a public policy research fellow for the Leon Panetta Institute for Public Policy.
