Bridgette Williams is an associate in the Orlando, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Bridgette began her legal career as an assistant state attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she used her prosecutorial discretion to manage hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. As a prosecutor, Bridgette served as lead counsel in five trials, ranging from robbery to first-degree drug trafficking. She also conducted countless witness interviews to determine case-specific facts and engaged in a considerable amount of motion practice, skills she now uses to represent employers.

During law school, Bridgette achieved the honor of Book Award three times in Legal Research and Writing, Juvenile Law, Criminal Procedure: Pretrial.

Prior to attending law school, Bridgette worked in employment law for over ten years with plaintiff’s counsel, defense counsel, as well as in-house counsel. Through those experiences, she developed an appreciation of the impact employment litigation can have on an individual, as well as the overall effect it can have on an employer. Because of that understanding, Bridgette’s goal is to help clients minimize risks and avoid litigation by maintaining work environments that foster healthy employer-employee relationships.
