Olivia P. Hines is an associate in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Olivia’s passion for labor and employment came on rather quickly after receiving an unexpected employment-related assignment during her time as a law clerk. Olivia immediately made the switch from pursuing a career in commercial litigation to focusing on labor and employment. Olivia has pursued that passion ever since.

Olivia has experience handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employment contract claims in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Olivia also has experience in handling traditional labor matters, including labor mediations and National Labor Relations Board proceedings, as well as experience drafting various employment policies, agreements and employee handbooks.
