Mark Rawdin

Mark Rawdin is an associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents employers in employment litigation and counsels them on workplace decisions that often give rise to disputes.

Mark defends employers in state and federal court against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues, including class and representative actions under California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). He also handles trade secret, employee mobility, and data privacy matters for clients across the technology, artificial intelligence, staffing, life sciences, and commercial real estate industries.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mark advises employers on workplace investigations, employee classification, performance management, terminations, handbooks and policies, and employment agreements. He also provides guidance on matters involving confidentiality, trade secret protection, and restrictive covenant obligations.

Before entering private practice, Mark served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Gonzalo P. Curiel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He is fluent in Spanish and leverages that experience when representing employers with diverse workforces throughout Southern California. 

A native San Diegan, Mark spends his time outside the office backpacking, snowboarding, and following developments in astrophysics.
