Tanya A. Bovée Appointed to Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford's Board of Trustees

HARTFORD, CT (April 24, 2024) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Tanya A. Bovée has been appointed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford’s Board of Trustees.

Tanya is a principal in Jackson Lewis’ Hartford office and a member of the firm's board of directors with a strategic focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) for the firm. She has 20 years of experience representing management in a wide range of issues related to employment law. Tanya partners with companies around the U.S. to develop DEI strategies, conducts customized DEI and bias workplace education sessions, and has presented hundreds of in-house training sessions for executives, management and employees regarding equal employment opportunity, harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Tanya also works with employers to comply with their affirmative action obligations, overseeing the preparation of affirmative action plans and defending compliance reviews.

 

In addition to her employment law practice, Tanya serves as co-president of the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She is also the inaugural recipient of the Quinnipiac University School of Law Alumni Association’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award. Tanya is passionate about DEI and has served in numerous organizations over the years to increase DEI in the legal profession, including the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford’s mission is to fill the gap between school and home by providing a welcoming and positive environment for youths to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Tanya earned her J.D. from the Quinnipiac University School of Law, her B.S. from the University of New Haven and her Executive Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
