Ms. Mak, who has more than 15 years of experience litigating a broad range of employment law matters, joins the firm from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Ms. Mak focuses her experience on counseling and defending clients in all areas of employment law, with a particular focus on California and federal wage and hour class, collective and representative actions. Some of her successes in defending employers in California’s unique and complex wage and hour landscape include obtaining early dismissal and defeating class certification. Ms. Mak also prides herself on being a strategic partner to clients, regularly advising them on a variety of day-to-day labor and employment issues involving state and federal wage and hour compliance, discrimination laws, and myriad employment policies and procedures.
