Stephanie Zorn Joins Jackson Lewis in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO (May 13, 2014) -- Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the largest workplace law firms in the world representing management, is pleased to announce Stephanie O. Zorn has joined the firm’s St. Louis office as Of Counsel.  Ms. Zorn, who joins the firm after serving as Senior Employee Benefits and Labor Counsel to Energizer Holdings, Inc., brings over a decade of senior management experience in benefits, employment and labor counseling within the United States as well as globally. 

At Energizer, Ms. Zorn’s employment and labor duties included worldwide responsibility for advising on and managing reductions in force, large-scale employee outsourcings, departmental reorganizations, and a wide range of personnel issues, as well as drafting and advising on noncompete, confidentiality, employment and retention agreements. In addition, she regularly prepared and presented management training programs, drafted employee handbooks and employment policies, negotiated union contracts and managed the defense of employment claims and litigation.

Ms. Zorn’s employee benefits duties included advising management and benefits personnel on ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRC, PPACA and DOL compliance. She also advised on and managed defined contribution and defined benefit pension plans and health and welfare plans for tax qualification compliance and design changes, as well as executive nonqualified deferred compensation plans, bonus plans and change in control agreements for IRC 162(m) and 409A compliance.
