Keeping Up with Wage and Hour: The Department of Labor, Supreme Court and Litigation Trends

This webinar will focus on wage and hour updates. We will discuss the Department of Labor regulatory updates and case trends including the Final Rule on the proposed salary increase for the white-collar exemptions. By this time, we should have a Supreme Court ruling in the Chevron agency deference case. This could alter the way employers must (or need not) comply with DOL guidance on a whole host of issues including independent contractor law, the 80/20 and 30-minute rules in the restaurant context. We will also discuss the latest trends in wage and hour litigation.
