The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, coupled with allegations and revelations about key executives and political leaders, have put workplace sexual harassment in the spotlight like never before. Employees are more likely than ever to report concerns. Employers must have systems in place for reporting and investigating these complaints, as their responses are subject to internal and external scrutiny.
This in-person training will help in-house legal and human resources professionals understand the current environment and what they should be doing in this important area.
Topics include:
- Current climate and trends
- Employer liability and defenses, and proactive steps employers should take
- The role of human resources and the importance of investigations
- An overview of harassment training that should be provided to employees and supervisors
