Jackson Lewis Strengthens Kansas City Litigation Team with Addition of Benjamin A. McMillen
KANSAS CITY, KS (January 12, 2025) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Benjamin A. McMillen has joined the firm as a principal in its Kansas City office. He joins the firm from Husch Blackwell and brings more than 15 years of experience representing employers in employment litigation and counseling matters.
“Ben’s depth of experience and ability to step in immediately as first chair make him a strong addition to our Kansas City litigation team,” said Christopher M. Ben focuses his practice on employment litigation and counseling. He represents employers in state and federal courts and advises management on a wide range of workplace issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, terminations, compensation, noncompete agreements and workplace safety matters. He also provides day-to-day counseling to help employers navigate complex workplace challenges.
In addition, Ben has experience advising employers on traditional labor relations matters, including collective bargaining, labor arbitration and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Ben earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and his B.A. from Northwest Missouri State University.
