Phong T. Tran is an associate in the Omaha, Nebraska, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on advising employers and professionals on U.S. employment-based immigration strategy. Drawing on experience supporting Fortune 100 companies, startups, and growing organizations in prior roles, he helps clients navigate visa processes while keeping compliance, business needs, and the human impact front and center.

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Phong practiced at a global immigration law firm, overseeing a high-volume portfolio of employment-based matters and partnering closely with HR teams, managers, and foreign national employees. His work covers a wide range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, EB-1, and NIW, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and clear communication. He has also earned recognition for his pro bono advocacy in humanitarian parole and asylum matters.

Complementing his legal background, Phong brings hands on experience from an AI legal tech startup, where he helped build and optimize tools that leverage automation and data insights to streamline immigration workflows and elevate client service.

As an immigrant himself, Phong approaches his work with empathy and collaboration, believing that successful immigration outcomes are built on clarity, trust, and thoughtful guidance at every stage of the process.
