Mitchell L. Fraley

Mitchell L. Fraley is of counsel in the Tampa, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on the defense of employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, with particular emphasis on complex litigation in federal and state courts.

Mitchell regularly represents clients in single-plaintiff and multi-party cases involving claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under the Florida Civil Rights Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. 

He also handles individual and collective action overtime and wage-and-hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act. His litigation experience includes all phases of case development through jury trial, and he has represented employers in employment matters and lawsuits on a nationwide basis, with significant experience in Massachusetts, California, Washington, Georgia, New York, Minnesota, Alabama, and Tennessee.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mitchell advises and trains employers on the practical and legal issues arising from workplace investigations, employee discipline, reasonable accommodations, and medical leave compliance under federal and state law. He works closely with clients to develop practical, business-oriented strategies that help organizations manage risk, maintain compliant workplace practices, and resolve disputes efficiently.
