Ryan B. Weiss is an associate in the Miami, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He focuses his practice on single plaintiff employment litigation and employer counseling involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FCRA, and FLSA. Ryan also has significant experience with restrictive covenant matters, including the enforcement and defense of non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements. His work further includes advising on disability and leave issues, arbitration matters, Florida common law employment claims, and employment and severance agreements.

Ryan has experience defending employers in federal and state courts throughout Florida, as well as before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR).

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Ryan practiced at one of Florida’s largest full-service litigation firms, focusing on employment law, commercial litigation, and professional negligence defense.

During law school, Ryan served as a member of a tenant’s rights clinic, where he represented low-income tenants in litigation and administrative proceedings, often in matters involving threatened eviction and housing insecurity. He also studied international law through a joint academic program offered by Tulane Law School and the University of Amsterdam, gaining exposure to comparative legal frameworks and transnational issues.
