Geoffrey Pittman is an associate in the San Francisco, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Geoff is an experienced labor and employment litigator, and his practice focuses on wage and hour class actions, collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as single plaintiff cases brought under California and Federal employment laws for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and misclassification.

He also defends employers against agency charges of discrimination before the California Civil Rights Division and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as against complaints filed with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. In addition, Geoff also provides advice and counsel to clients on a myriad of labor and employment compliance issues facing California employers. 

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis P.C., Geoff worked as an in-house litigation counsel at Lyft, and also worked at Hanson Bridgett LLP, and Morrison & Foerster LLP as a civil litigator. His previous areas of substantive expertise included defending consumer class actions and complex litigation, but he has broad litigation experience across many legal areas and industries. Geoff is adept at all aspects of civil litigation, including pre-trial, trial, arbitration, mediation, and settlement.
