Marissa is a principal in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Marissa serves as the Senior Director of Learning, leading the firm’s attorney learning strategy within the Learning and Professional Development Department.
Dedicated to embracing and further enhancing Jackson Lewis’ client-focused approach to legal practice and service excellence, Marissa oversees a high-performing learning team and collaborates with firm leadership to deliver practical, skills-based training and coaching. From first year associates to principals, Marissa and the learning team support attorneys in building and expanding the core competencies needed to develop both the skills and emotional intelligence to create successful outcomes for clients. Building on a strong foundation in employment law as an experienced litigator, Marissa understands the demands of legal practice and the skills attorneys need to succeed. A certified executive coach and experienced facilitator, Marissa is known for her ability to translate legal concepts into engaging, practice-ready learning experiences. She has developed and led firmwide initiatives on topics such as litigation strategy, client communication, leadership development and inclusive workplace practices.
