Taylor B. Scott
Taylor B. Scott is an associate in the Baltimore, Maryland, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. With a background in social work, Taylor understands that interpersonal relationships lie at the heart of employment law and is committed to guiding employers toward legal solutions that promote business objectives, foster strong employer-employee relationships, and ensure overall best employment practices.
Taylor defends employers in workplace disputes, including wrongful termination, retaliatory discharge, discrimination and harassment. She collaborates with clients to handle the complex and resulting stressful repercussions of litigation by incorporating empathy into every legal strategy. To prevent disputes from arising, Taylor builds a holistic relationship with employers by extending her counsel to preventative advice and counsel.
Prior to Jackson Lewis, Taylor developed her litigation skills at a boutique law firm and clerked for the Honorable Michael W. Reed of the Appellate Court of Maryland. While in law school, Taylor served as comments editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law.
