Erik B. Derr is of counsel in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Erik understands that clients value a counselor who vigorously advocates on their behalf and remains transparent throughout the adversarial process. As a result, his representation focuses on finding cost-effective solutions to real-time business and workplace challenges.

Erik partners with clients to take challenges head-on in a manner that reflects common-sense business practices. Erik represents employers in a variety of industries, including higher education, in workplace litigation, including claims of discrimination and wrongful termination. Erik also has particular experience achieving successful resolutions in matters involving restrictive covenants and non-compete issues, specifically in the staffing industry. 

Erik appreciates the high-pressure environment of running a business and seeks practical solutions to keep it running smoothly. Erik believes the best problems are those avoided, so he provides advice and counsel on compliance strategies and solutions in the ever-changing legal landscape of the workplace.
