Michael Tontillo
Michael Tontillo is an associate in the Cincinnati, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice encompasses a wide array of labor and employment issues, including wage and hour compliance, workplace discrimination, leave management, disability accommodation, mass layoffs, employee benefits, and more.
Mike spends most of his professional time offering prophylactic advice to help clients avoid legal risk and to keep them apprised of new developments in the law. However, Mike also represents clients after charges have been filed, including in federal and state collective action suits, federal and state discrimination charges, and unfair labor practice charges.
Having previously worked as a classroom teacher before transitioning into the law, Mike is particularly adept at explaining complicated legal concepts in straightforward terms that non-attorneys can readily understand. Whenever possible, Mike looks for practical solutions that allow his clients to accomplish their business objectives without taking on undue legal risk.
