Scarlett P. Keane

Scarlett P. Keane is an associate in the St. Louis, Missouri, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in all aspects of litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She has in-depth experience defending employment claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Missouri Human Rights Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. She believes that comprehensive, detailed solutions provide the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Scarlett served as an Assistant City Counselor for the City of St. Louis where she represented city commissioners, appointing authorities, and the City itself in a broad range of employment law and personal injury matters. She provided tailored guidance to both experienced and newly appointed city officials to achieve desirable outcomes in each case. Scarlett also served as a judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Charles County, Maryland where she gained litigation experience in civil and criminal cases.

Scarlett is also passionate about food insecurity and frequently volunteers with nonprofits that provide communities with the nutrition they need. Currently, she serves as a volunteer chef with Lasagna Love, an organization that provides prepared dinners to families across the United States. Before moving to the St. Louis area, Scarlett volunteered with the Arlington Food Assistance Center where she and her husband collected surplus produce from farmers markets for a local food pantry.
