He has more than a decade of experience in data privacy and cybersecurity, with a focus on artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, regulatory compliance and high-stakes litigation.

Ken’s practice focuses on litigation and compliance matters involving artificial intelligence, data privacy and intellectual property. He has served as lead counsel in more than 100 enforcement, compliance, and litigation matters before federal courts and administrative agencies, including high-stakes security and privacy cases involving the California Invasion of Privacy Act. Ken has extensive experience across all areas of privacy law, advising clients in nearly every industry and supporting executive‑level leaders in achieving business objectives in high‑growth environments.
With background experience in engineering and business, Ken also advises clients on intellectual property strategy, corporate matters and disputes involving complex technologies. His trial experience in this space spans industries including commercial aviation, mobile devices, radiation oncology and hybrid vehicle systems.
In addition to his legal practice, Ken works as an adjunct professor at University of Illinois College of Law and University of Illinois Chicago School of Law where he teaches artificial intelligence, data privacy, cybersecurity and intellectual property-related courses.
