Alyssa Testo is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including litigation, internal investigations, and preventive advice and counseling.

Alyssa’s litigation practice focuses on representing employers in a variety of employment claims, including wage and hour, whistleblower, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims before administrative agencies and state and federal courts.  She is involved in every step of the litigation process, from conducting initial fact investigations for clients, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.

In addition to her litigation practice, Alyssa partners with her clients to understand their business so that she can effectively help minimize legal risk. She provides practical business advice based on “best practices” designed not only to comply with state and federal employment laws but also to navigate challenging personnel matters before litigation arises. Alyssa also conducts effective internal investigations and provides discrimination and harassment prevention training in the workplace.

While attending law school, Alyssa was an articles editor and published member of the Maryland Law Review and provided pro bono legal service in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.
