Amira Genevieve Adel is an associate in the Detroit, Michigan, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in litigation and advises clients on various aspects of the employer-employee relationship.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Genevieve worked in human resources for a fintech company with employees in 25+ states. Genevieve has also conducted internal workplace investigations into employee reports of discrimination, harassment, and misconduct claims. Genevieve relates to the challenges and risk management experienced by employers every day. She pursued this interest in employment law and alternative dispute resolution at Michigan State University.

Genevieve handles discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employment contract claims in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.

While attending law school, Genevieve was a research assistant at the Center for Law, Technology and Innovation.
