Andrea Belanger is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Annie represents employers in a variety of workplace law matters, including claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She partners with clients to provide practical guidance and develop solutions that minimize risk and align with business goals. When litigation is unavoidable, Annie vigorously defends employers in state and federal court, and before administrative agencies.

Before joining the firm, Annie gained extensive litigation experience as Associate Counsel for the U.S. Department of the Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). At NAVSEA, Annie provided legal advice and recommendations on a variety of civilian personnel matters and represented the Agency in matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Merit Systems Protection Board. Prior to joining NAVSEA, she was a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States Court of Federal Claims, Office of Special Masters, where she worked on complex vaccine injury cases.

She graduated magna cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law in 2021. While in law school, she served as Senior Note & Comment Editor for the Administrative Law Review and gained valuable experience interning at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, D.C. Superior Court, and AEquitas. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

A Connecticut native, Annie has lived in the D.C. area since 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys reading fantasy novels, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her two dogs, Pepper and Pumpkin.
