Biography
Avvennett Gezahan is an associate in the Dallas, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Avvennett sharpened her litigation skills by representing companies in various general liability cases, including premises liability, personal injury, construction defects and toxic tort. Additionally, she was a senior city attorney for the City of Dallas, where she prosecuted property owners for operating criminal nuisance and substandard properties.
During law school, Avvennett was the captain of the Thurgood Marshall Trial Advocacy Team and interned at the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office.
