Benjamin Hunter is an associate in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice includes providing advice and counsel to private and public sector employers on work-related issues and litigating employment matters before state and federal courts. Ben’s employment law experience includes defending clients facing claims related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblowing.

During law school, Ben was an extern for Hon. William Shubb at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, as well as a summer legal intern for a personal injury law firm in Dallas, Texas. He served as an editor on the Michigan Business and Entrepreneurial Law Journal and as a member of the Business Law Association. Ben also spent time giving back to the local community by representing taxpayers at the Low Income Taxpayers Clinic. In his final year of law school, he was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding academic performance.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ben represented both private and public sector clients in employment and personal injury matters, and contributed to obtaining a defense verdict in a jury trial based on employment retaliation.
