Bria M. Cochran
Bria M. Cochran is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling matters.
Bria has experience litigating in federal court, state court and before administrative agencies, while also appearing regularly at arbitrations and mediations. She has successfully handled cases involving claims of race, age, disability, and sex discrimination, as well as breach of contract, sexual harassment, retaliatory discharge, and wage-hour claims.
Along with her strong litigation experience, Bria also conducts sensitive workplace investigations. For example, Bria investigated allegations that the Chair of a Board of Directors was harassing the CEO of an organization.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Bria was an associate at an international law firm where she gained experience in all phases of litigation, representing a wide range of clients from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. While attending law school, Bria served as an extern for The Hon. Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby.
