
Caroline C. Braga
Caroline C. Braga is an associate in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C., where she focuses her practice on employment litigation and preventative counseling. She partners with employers to develop legally compliant work environments while navigating the complex and evolving landscape of multijurisdictional employment laws.
Caroline takes a proactive approach to risk management by emphasizing clear communication, practical advice and counsel to minimize the likelihood of disputes. This focus includes emphasis on workplace training in both English and Spanish, which serves to foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment and regulatory compliance. In addition to her counseling work, Caroline maintains an active litigation practice, representing employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, non-compete agreements, and other workplace-related disputes. Caroline is known for her hands-on approach to litigation and commitment to achieving practical, business-focused solutions for her clients.
Before entering private practice, Caroline served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Bonnie J. Mizdol, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage (Ret.). During law school, Caroline served as President of the Women’s Law Forum and a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. Maintaining a commitment to service and the legal community, she currently serves on the Executive Board of the Bergen County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
Before becoming an attorney, Caroline pursued a career as a professional opera singer, and prides herself on bringing the same level of discipline, creativity and passion to the practice of law and advocacy on behalf of employers.
