Damian J. Cortez

Damian J. Cortez is an associate in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He focuses his practice on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling and litigation. 

Damian has experience handling complex matters involving harassment, discrimination, interactive process disputes, and accommodation issues. He regularly conducts legal research, drafts pleadings and discovery, assists with depositions and hearings, and contributes to motion practice and trial preparation. 

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Damian worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kimberly J. Mueller, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of California, and the Honorable Patricia Guerrero, Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court.
