Daniel R. Axelrod is an associate in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing clients in employment disputes involving employment discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour matters at the federal and state court levels, as well as before administrative agencies.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Axelrod worked as an associate attorney at an Am Law 100 firm in New York City and at a full-service law firm on Long Island, where he represented clients in a wide range of state and federal employment matters.

Mr. Axelrod received his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During law school, he served as a Research Editor for the Hofstra Law Review and completed an externship with Presiding Justice Alan D. Scheinkman of the New York Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department.

Mr. Axelrod earned his undergraduate degree in Information Systems & Business Analytics from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University - Bloomington. Before attending law school, he worked for Indiana University Baseball and the Texas Rangers Baseball Club.
