Daniel T. Corbett is a principal in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Dan partners with clients to help them create and maintain stable employer-employee relationships, including the resolution of employment disputes.

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Dan was part of a midsize Chicago-area firm and represented municipal and public sector clients in complex civil rights, police misconduct, tort, premises liability and employment cases. Dan also counseled clients on a variety of legal issues arising from the operation and management of local government to help minimize liability risks and avoid stressful and costly litigation.

While attending law school, Dan served as senior editor of the Consumer Law Review and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts. Dan also was an academic tutor for first-year law students and a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary Anne Mason (Ret.) in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division. In the Loyola Business Law Clinic, Dan counseled clients in drafting employment contracts and handbooks.
