David I. Solomon an associate in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. A law school internship with the New Jersey Reentry Corporation and Governor James McGreevey introduced David to the importance of labor law and the positive impact that an employer and business can have on an entire community.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, David was an associate at a midsize New Jersey law firm where he worked directly with various employers to ensure compliance with all relevant statutes and regulations, as well as protecting them from possible liability and potential litigation. He also provided direct and daily counseling to employers on both labor and employment matters, negotiated collective bargaining agreements on behalf of management, and represented employers in arbitration, as well as administrative, trial, and appellate courts.
David served as a law clerk for the Honorable Justine A. Niccollai of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County.
David’s mother was a practicing attorney operating a solo practice. As a result, David learned the importance of strong and dedicated advocacy at a young age and developed a sincere appreciation for the impact that an attorney could have for clients. Applying his past experience to his present practice, David couples that boutique hands-on approach of a solo practice with the resources of a full law firm to provide each of his clients with a personal service to best understand and achieve their goals.
